Dress Code: Wear comfortable, practical clothing and shoes for walking. You may also want to bring a light rain jacket, as the weather in northern Spain can change quickly.
Weather: The weather in Galicia can be unpredictable, so it’s important to be prepared for both sun and rain.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Santiago de Compostela

Arrival at Santiago de Compostela Airport.
Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Welcome dinner and introductory briefing about the pilgrimage ahead.
Overnight in Santiago de Compostela.

Day 2: Santiago de Compostela – Exploring the City

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit to the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, the final destination of the Camino, which houses the tomb of St. James.
Explore the historic center of Santiago, including Plaza del Obradoiro, the Monastery of San Martín Pinario, and the Pilgrims' Office, where you can receive your official Compostela certificate.
Free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 3: Beginning the Camino – Sarria to Portomarín

Early morning departure to Sarria, the starting point for the final 100 kilometers of the Camino de Santiago, which is the minimum required to receive the Compostela certificate.
Begin your walk along the beautiful Camino trail, passing through the lush countryside and picturesque villages.
Arrival in Portomarín, a charming town located on the banks of the Miño River.
Overnight in Portomarín.

Day 4: Portomarín to Palas de Rei

Breakfast at the hotel.
Continue your pilgrimage as you walk through the rolling hills and forests of Galicia.
Visit the beautiful church of San Nicolás in Palas de Rei and reflect on the day's journey.

Day 5: Palas de Rei to Arzúa

Day 6: Arzúa to Pedrouzo

Arrive in Pedrouzo, a small town that serves as a stopping point for many pilgrims before reaching Santiago de Compostela.

Day 7: Pedrouzo to Santiago de Compostela

The final day of your pilgrimage! Walk the last stretch of the Camino, filled with anticipation and spiritual reflection as you approach the holy city of Santiago.
Upon arrival, attend a Pilgrim’s Mass at the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral and give thanks for your journey.

Day 8: Departure from Santiago de Compostela

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport for your return flight or onward destination.
End of the pilgrimage.
